Second in his last start the WITH DISTINCTION runner was put to some urging leaving the starting gate, settled for second and then was swung off the inside and put into the two path after conceding the early  advantage for good, nearing the half mile pole, maintained reasonable striking distance, gained on the pacesetter coming to the eighth pole, went by easily to win the 6f race for maidens by 2 3/4 lengths.

Racing up closely from the gate the CITY PLACE runner made his bid leaving the second turn to open a clear lead in the stretch and win the 1 mile 40 yd Tampa Bay race by 2 3/4 lengths.

The WITH DISTINCTION filly chased the pace off the rail, rallied to gain a slim lead nearing the eighth pole, then edged clear to win the 1 1/16 mile race by 1 ½ lengths.

The Aqueduct winner took on allowance company over 6f at Penn National. The 3yo filly by leading 2nd Crop Sire WITH DISTINCTION stayed out from the rail while leading the chase then quickly moved clear in midstretch to win 1 1/4 lengths.

The FULL MANDATE mare set the pace well off the rail at Tampa Bay. Increasing her margin throughout the 7f race for maidens she was never challenged and kept to task through the lane to win by 7 1/2 lengths.

Cool Coal Man to Hartley/De Renzo

Cool Coal Man, who won the 2008 Fountain of Youth Stakes (G2) at Gulfstream Park on his way to $929,718 in earnings, will stand at Hartley/De Renzo Thoroughbreds in Ocala this year for a $5,000 stud fee. The 6-year-old stallion is a son of 2003 Horse of the Year Mineshaft, who earned $2.26 million, and the Rubiano mare Coral Sea, who earned $130,087.
